The Chalet (Ecoleader certified) is located on the slopes of Monte Ocre, in the homonymous municipality within the Sirente Velino Regional Park, in the San Felice hamlet, just 10km from the city of L'Aquila, 18km from the ski resorts of the Rocche plateau and 20km from the Gran Sasso d'Italia Cable Car. It is a wooden structure (blockhouse type - see photo gallery) that, through the application of modern concepts of eco-building, makes it earthquake-resistant and energy class A.
Equipped since 2021 with a 6, 8 kW electric vehicle charging station and a Finnish Sauna with wood stove (extra service) which must be booked a few hours in advance. .

The toppings can be made on the spot, with honey, chocolate, or jam according to personal preferences. Specific and particular requirements can be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

The Ocre Chalet, completely made of wood, is very close to the ski lifts of the Rocche plateau and those of Campo Imperatore.

The Castle of Ocre and the religious settlements of the Sant'Angelo Convent of Ocre and the Monastery of Santo Spirito d'Ocre are a direct testimony to a place that has been at the center of history.
